About
Jonathan Workman, D.O., has been an orthopedic spine surgeon for more than 10 years. Dr. Workman comes to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with a myriad of outstanding graduate awards, research projects and academic presentations.
His focus is on adult-related conditions involving the cervical and lumbar spine, specifically lumbar fusion procedures; cervical and lumbar discectomy; anterior cervical discectomy and fusion; cervical laminoforaminotomy; cervical disc replacement; posterior cervical fusion procedures; transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion; lumbar laminectomy; revision spinal surgery and minimally invasive spinal surgery.
Born and raised in Missouri, Dr. Workman graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Evangel University in Springfield, MO. He went on to complete his master’s degree from Des Moines University-College of Health Sciences and completed medical school with Des Moines University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. He completed his residency with Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO, along with a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery at the Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, MN.
He enjoys spending his spare time with family, drawing and outdoor activities.
