Dr. Shahid Choudhary is a board-certified neurologist providing care for patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system at Regional Physician Services. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care with a focus on accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plans.
Dr. Choudhary earned his medical degree from UTESA University, School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed his neurology residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, where he received extensive training in the evaluation and management of complex neurological conditions.
Neurology encompasses a wide range of conditions affecting the nervous system. Dr. Choudhary treats disorders including headaches and migraines, Alzheimer’s disease and memory impairments, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, brain tumors, peripheral nerve disorders, Parkinson’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
At Regional Physician Services, Dr. Choudhary utilizes advanced diagnostic tools to support timely and accurate diagnosis. These include angiography, CT scans, MRI, PET and PET/CT imaging, nerve conduction studies, EMGs, as well as EEG and 24-hour EEG monitoring.
Dr. Choudhary sees both new and established patients at Regional Physician Services and works closely with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated neurological care.
